Obi-Wan Kenobi: Upcoming TV Series
Since everyone in the entire Star Wars fandom is talking about how excited they are for the long awaited ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ series coming out in May of 2022, I figured I would take some time to talk about the upcoming show, and the beloved character himself! I personally cannot wait to see this jesus-like figure in action again on the big screen. Even in the Star Wars Clone Wars adaptation of Obi-Wan, I feel as though Ewan McGregor’s personality and character were captured perfectly.
The show titled ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ will be released on Disney+ on may 25th of this year, which happens to be the day that ‘A New Hope’ premiered all those years ago… Anyway, the show is confirmed to have a few events that we, the Star Wars fandom, have been long awaiting. This includes a rematch between Obi-Wan and Vader, whom Obi-Wan previously burnt to a crisp on Mustafar 😊. Did he deserve it?... Ya probably, along with other confirmed events including the first appearance of Jedi hunters from ‘Star Wars Rebels’ who carry the famous spinning red lightsabers, in the live action realm.
As we have seen in the recent Star Wars films/TV series, there will most likely be tons of unexpected cameos of your favorite characters in the Star Wars Universe.
